என் பதிவில் இட்ட நாள்: Sept 16, 2007
இது இந்தியாவுல தான் நம்புங்க! என்ற தலைப்பில் ஒரு பதிவிருக்க நம்பாமல் அப்பதிவுக்குச் சென்றேன்.
ஆச்சரியமாக இருக்கு. நான் பார்த்ததை இன்னும் பலருக்கு எடுத்துச் செல்ல என் பதிவில் அப்பதிவிற்கு ஒரு இணைப்பு கொடுக்கிறேன். வாசித்துப் பாருங்கள்; செய்தும் பார்போம்.
ஒரு பெரிய விஷயத்திற்கு எனது மிகச்சிறிய பதிவு ... என்னால் முடிந்தது.

One suggestion from me.
I've observed in Bangalore (guess true in almost in all cities in TN as well) that most of the busstops are located in the street intersections and the buses stop right in the road to load passengers. What happens is when the signal turns green, the onward traffic is stalled and this simply leads to a traffic jam. I've seen some bus stops in Chennai were built away from the main road thus allowing free onward traffic flow. If you had observed in abroad, all bus stations are built in this manner. Can you escalate this to appropriate authorities to consider these factor for constructing bus stops? Some "lean management" measures like these are definitely required to ease traffic congestion while long term solutions like 4-lane or 6-lane roads are underway.

now as we know the GC- grievance Cell, whenever we find some changes to be made in our public life, let us write such suggestions to the GC and place a copy here for the others to have a look.
that will be a multi-pronged approach. so i suggest that you write on this issue to the grievance cell. please.
